I’m an MLIS graduate student passionate about delivering quality information and reference services to children, young adults, and marginalized populations.

Personal Statement

I have a demonstrated history of excelling in both independent and team settings, with high capability for both self-direction and collaboration.  I have been frequently complimented on my friendly and out-going demeanor, the care and consideration I bring to patron interactions, and my ability to quickly learn new skills and adjust to new situations. My professional interests include the use of social tagging in public libraries, delivering digital literacy programming to youth, and collaborating with other community organizations to better serve our patrons.
